Confined Space Entry and Rescue - Low and Medium Risk - English training

This training is conducted entirely in English 

The following topics are covered:

• The definition, hazards and categories of working in confined spaces;

• The applicable laws and regulations for entering a confined space;

• General knowledge about personal safety;

• The correct working method for entering a confined space;

• Recognizing and using Isolation lock-out, tag-out, try-out;

• The various core skills such as air monitoring, ventilation and horizontal and vertical access/exit to confined spaces;

• Knowing and applying the entry procedures;

• Making rescue plans, incident assessment and incident management;

• Recognizing specific safety risks, and thereby creating a safe working environment;

• How to enter and exit a vertical confined space;

• The use of Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) escape sets and 4-gas diffuser;

• The usefulness and necessity of using anchor systems;

• Knowing and applying the emergency and alarm procedures;

• The standard tripod configuration and mechanical hoisting;

• The reach-type rescue with a telescopic pole;

• The application of lifting/lowering systems and the associated mechanical advantage;

• The care and proper wrapping of the victim;

• Rescue of the victim from a confined space with low/medium risk.
