Air monitoring Foundation - English training
This course covers the what, how and why of gas detection. Attention will be paid to various types of gases, oxygen levels, explosion levels and safe working values. In addition, different types of gas detection equipment are discussed together with the practical advantages and disadvantages.

Inhoud training
This training will be offered entirely in English
The following topics are covered:
The definition, (atmospheric) hazards and categories of working in confined spaces;
The applicable laws and regulations when entering confined spaces;
Recognizing specific safety risks, and thereby creating a safe working environment;
Recognizing and acting in oxygen-poor and oxygen-enriched atmospheres;
General knowledge of LEL, UEL, flammability range, relative response curves
Recognizing flash point, vapor pressure, vapor density;
Using a personal meter;
Measuring oxygen levels with electrochemical oxygen sensors;
Measuring explosion levels with catalytic sensors for flammable gases;
Measuring toxic levels with electrochemical toxic sensors;
Maintaining gas monitors;
Performing fresh air calibration and bump testing.
This training will definitely continue with a minium group size of 4 people.

| Hercertificering | Rescue3 international certification are valid for 3 years. Follow a refresher training or a follow-up training within 3 years. With annual succesful repetition and registration, the certification is automatically extended after 3 years. In order to remain sufficiently trained an to meet the legal requirements (Arbowet), we advise to follow a training annually. Also called logbook training. We can provide this training at Eurosafe.
